Indigenous Mothers
Homeward Bound
The Urban Indigenous Homeward Bound (UIHB) program is designed to support sole-parenting Indigenous women in overcoming barriers to meaningful employment, well-being, and long-term prosperity for themselves and their children.
The program provides comprehensive services such as housing, childcare, education, life-skills, and mental health supports, with the goal of achieving post-secondary education and career-track employment. Direct service users are Indigenous mothers seeking to improve their economic stability and enhance their quality of life.
