Community Justice
Community Justice
The N'Amerind Community Justice Program offers a culturally based alternative to incarceration for Indigenous individuals in conflict with the law, focusing on healing, accountability, and reconciliation.
The program's goal is to address the root causes of criminal behaviour through healing circles and community-driven justice, while reducing recidivism and supporting reintegration. Direct service users are Indigenous adults and youth who have been charged with a criminal offense and are seeking a restorative, culturally appropriate justice process.
