Canadian Prenatal Nutrition
The Canadian Prenatal Nutrition Program promotes the health of Indigenous mothers and their babies by providing culturally sensitive prenatal and postnatal services, including nutrition education, counselling, and access to traditional teachings.
The program aims to support healthy pregnancies and early child development through holistic care and resources. Direct service users are at-risk Indigenous mothers and their infants, who benefit from tailored support during the prenatal and early postnatal stages.
